This knife is definitely a first from me. I had some cut off pieces from Nichols Damascus. If you’re unaware they make awesome stainless Damascus billets. I forged out a piece into this tanto shape.
Compound grind. Flat ground on the tip and hollow grind through the length of the blade. I left a forged finish on the blade because I thought it was cool to have new age (stainless Damascus) and old age (forged finish) mix.
Handle is turquoise sting ray skin with an ito wrap and a Turks head knot for finger protection.
As with all my knives this was precision heat treated in an electric kiln for the best ability out of the steel and then liquid nitrogen dipped.
Sheath is a kydex sheath with an ulti clip that can be moved to many different position for a versatile carry.
